APM Mukah Destroys Wasp Nest Near Home Safely

MUKAH – The Malaysian Civil Defence Force (APM) Mukah responded to an emergency call on 21 June 2026 after a wasp nest was discovered beside a residence in the district.

The incident was reported to the District Operations Control Centre (PKOD), prompting immediate deployment of APM personnel to the site.

Upon arrival, officers identified the nest, which was roughly the size of a takraw ball, and assessed the potential risk to the household.

Using Ridsect spray combined with controlled fire techniques, the team successfully destroyed the nest. The operation was carried out with precision to ensure the safety of residents and prevent any escalation of danger.
