BINTULU – The Malaysian Civil Defence Force (APM) Bintulu successfully rescued a cat trapped on the roof of a house on 21 June 2026, following an emergency call from the public.
The District Operations Control Centre (PKOD) received the report, prompting immediate deployment of personnel to the location. Upon arrival, officers confirmed that the cat was stranded on the roof and unable to descend safely.
APM members carried out the rescue operation with care, ensuring the animal was removed without injury. The cat was safely returned to the household, and the situation was declared under control.
