SELANGAU – The Malaysian Civil Defence Force (APM) Selangau team successfully handled a wildlife incident on Friday, 3 April 2026, after receiving a call from the public reporting the presence of a lizard inside a room at Rh. Donny, Stapang.
The Selangau District Operations Control Centre immediately dispatched the duty squad to the location. Upon arrival, the team discovered the reptile hiding beneath a refrigerator.
Using a safe snaring technique, APM Selangau personnel managed to capture the lizard without causing harm to the animal or endangering residents.
