SPAOH – A fallen tree blocked Jalan Kebun Cina in Spaoh early Thursday morning, 16 July 2026, prompting swift action from the District Operations Control Centre (PKOD) and the Bravo Squad.
The incident was reported at 7.30am by a local resident, Mr Bong, who encountered the obstruction while on his way to work. He informed authorities that the tree had collapsed across the road, preventing access to his home and blocking traffic.
Following the complaint, four members of the Bravo Squad were deployed to the site. Upon arrival, they found the tree had completely covered the road, making it impossible for vehicles to pass. The team immediately began cutting and clearing operations to restore access.
The operation took approximately 35 minutes, with members working to cut the tree into sections, remove debris, and clean the surrounding area. By 8.18am, the road was declared safe for public use. Bravo Squad Leader, Sergeant (PA) Hasla Bin Deli, confirmed that Jalan Kebun Cina was fully reopened and safe for motorists.
