The branch office welcomed many mothers and senior citizens in the morning, with residents arriving to enquire about assistance programmes such as the Kenyalang Gold Card and the Senior Citizen Health Benefit.

Others simply came to spend time with volunteers and neighbours, enjoying companionship and conversation.

Organisers noted that the presence of mothers was particularly meaningful, as they continue to balance family responsibilities while extending care to those around them.

Their dedication was described as a reminder of the quiet sacrifices mothers make, often carrying hardships while giving the best to their children.

Simple gestures of gratitude, such as a “thank you” or “辛苦了” (meaning “you’ve worked hard”), were said to have brought warmth to the gathering, reflecting the spirit of appreciation that defined the day.
