BAU – The Bau District Police Headquarters (IPD Bau) has successfully concluded a comprehensive integrated crime prevention operation aimed at enhancing public safety and curbing criminal activities in the district. The two-day initiative, which ran from July 25 to July 26, 2026, targeted key areas including Pekan Bau, Jambusan, and Siniawan.
As part of the strategic deployment, officers established a road block, known locally as a Spot Check Junction (SJR), at Simpang Suba Buan along the Bau–Serikin road. This location was chosen due to its significance as a transit route, allowing police to effectively monitor vehicular movement and identify potential security threats. The operation reflected a proactive approach to law enforcement, focusing on visibility and deterrence in high-traffic zones.
Throughout the duration of the operation, police personnel conducted thorough checks on both vehicles and individuals. A total of 63 vehicles were stopped and inspected, while 80 individuals were subjected to identity verification and screening procedures.
