The coordinated joint operation aimed to fortify public safety and enhance local community engagement. As part of the initiative, the joint security team carried out a specialised Go-To-Safety Point (GTSP) evaluation at the Petronas filling station in Bau.

This specific initiative was designed to gather firsthand feedback from commercial workers regarding their security environment whilst fostering closer ties between civilian workers and the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM).

In tandem with the commercial safety checks, personnel expanded their presence through visibility patrols targeting several residential and commercial sectors.

The security sweeps covered Bandar Bau, Tasik Biru, and Tondong, alongside extended rural coverage through Kampung Apar, Kampung Segong, Kampung Barieng, Kampung Tanjong Poting, Kampung Senibong, and Sebuku.

The wide-ranging patrols were executed to deter opportunistic criminal activity and reassure residents across the district.

Authorities reported that the atmosphere throughout all monitored zones remained entirely peaceful, with the general public complying with local ordinances and no major disruptions recorded.

Despite the calm conditions, traffic officers embedded in the deployment intercepted a few motoring offences during the rounds.

A total of two official traffic summonses were handed out to motorists, with violations including general traffic infractions and unauthorised motorcycle exhaust modifications.

District police leadership stated that these collaborative security efforts are set to continue as part of a long-term strategy to safeguard neighbourhoods.
