Bintulu Car Free Morning 2025 Promotes Health, Unity and Sustainability

BINTULU – The Bintulu Car Free Morning (BCFM) in December 2025 brought together residents in a lively and energetic atmosphere, showcasing a blend of health, recreation, and community spirit.

The programme, held early in the morning, encouraged locals to embrace an active lifestyle while strengthening bonds in a sustainable and environmentally friendly urban setting.

The event was graced by YB Encik Johnny Pang Leong Ming, ADUN N.68 Tanjong Batu, who joined the community and participated in activities.

BCFM December 2025 featured a wide range of engaging programmes designed to highlight health, environmental sustainability, and community involvement. Among the activities were:

  • Plogging Clean Up Our Beach
  • People’s Sports
  • Aerobicthon Competition
  • Pet & Build Exhibition
  • Book Exchange & Interactive Activities
  • Preloved Goods Sale

These activities not only promoted fitness and wellness, but also encouraged environmental responsibility and community togetherness, reinforcing Bintulu’s vision of a sustainable city.

Organisers extended their highest appreciation to all parties who contributed to the success of the event. Special recognition was given to security officers for maintaining road safety, the Enforcement team for technical support of the PA system, the Sports, Recreation and Parking Section for logistics, and the Public Health Environment team, who led the plogging initiative to clean up beach areas and provided equipment to ensure smooth operations.

The cooperation and dedication of all involved were instrumental in ensuring the safe and successful organisation of the programme.

BCFM continues to serve as a platform for the Bintulu community to come together, promoting healthier lifestyles, environmental awareness, and stronger social ties.
