KUCHING – Local company HENZ Pacific has extended its support to two charitable organisations by sponsoring 100 tickets to the Great British Circus, presented during the Majlis Ramah Tamah Aidilfitri celebration today.
The tickets were donated to the Kuching Autistic Association and the Sarawak Children’s Cancer Society, enabling children and families under their care to enjoy the internationally renowned circus performance. The gesture reflects HENZ Pacific’s commitment to community welfare and corporate social responsibility.
The presentation ceremony was witnessed by several distinguished leaders, including YB Dato Sri Haji Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah, Minister for Tourism, Creative Industry and Performing Arts Sarawak, who also serves as Minister for Youth, Sports and Entrepreneur Development.
He was joined by YB Datuk Snowdan Lawan, Deputy Minister for Tourism, Creative Industry and Performing Arts, and YB Datuk Gerald Rentap Jabu, Deputy Minister for Youth, Sports and Entrepreneur Development.
Also present were Mr Morshidi Fredrick and Mr Dzulkornain Masron, Permanent Secretaries of the Ministry of Tourism, Creative Industry and Performing Arts (MTCP) and the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Entrepreneur Development (MYSED), respectively.
Their attendance underscored the importance of collaboration between government, the private sector, and non-governmental organisations in uplifting communities.
The sponsorship is part of HENZ Pacific’s broader initiative to give back to society, particularly to groups that provide essential support to vulnerable children and families.
Both recipient organisations play vital roles in Sarawak: the Kuching Autistic Association advocates for awareness and support for individuals with autism, while the Sarawak Children’s Cancer Society provides assistance to children battling cancer and their families.
The Great British Circus, known for its vibrant performances and international acts, has been touring Malaysia and continues to attract audiences of all ages.
For the children and families supported by these NGOs, the tickets represent not only entertainment but also an opportunity to share joyful experiences together.
The event highlighted how corporate sponsorships can make a meaningful difference in the lives of those in need, while also strengthening ties between businesses, communities, and government agencies.
HENZ Pacific’s contribution was warmly received, with organisers expressing gratitude for the company’s generosity.
