The programme began with the singing of patriotic songs, followed by a traditional Ngajat dance performance to welcome guests in true Sarawakian spirit. In her speech, TR Diana expressed her gratitude to the previous village heads, namely KK John Tambie, KK Mathew Bandan, KK Jugah anak Ango, and KK Lipih anak Chalu, who had served with dedication in the past 26 years.

She also highlighted that this event was a self-funded effort, with expenses covered using JKKK and Women’s Bureau funds. Initially planned for December 2024, the ceremony had to be postponed due to unforeseen circumstances, but the spirit of appreciation remained strong.
