JPJ Miri Inspects 358 Vehicles in Ops Patuh Enforcement

MIRI – The Road Transport Department (JPJ) Miri Branch Operations Unit conducted Ops Patuh on 6th February 2026, carrying out patrols and enforcement across Miri town as well as static checks at KM 7, along the Miri-Bintulu Road.

Inspections covered both commercial and private vehicles, with a total of 358 vehicles checked. Officers detected several infringements, including not wearing seat belts, overloading vehicles, using mobile phones while driving, driving without a valid licence, expired road tax, and other technical compliance violations.

Drivers and vehicle owners found in violation were issued appropriate enforcement actions. JPJ officers stressed that such measures are essential to maintain road safety standards and ensure adherence to traffic laws.
