During the exercise, JPJ officers inspected 85 vehicles of different categories. Several violations were detected, including driving without a valid licence, expired Motor Vehicle Licences (LKM), lack of insurance coverage, and other technical offences relating to vehicle safety.

Immediate action was taken against offenders in line with existing laws. JPJ highlighted that strict enforcement is essential to ensure compliance and to protect road users, particularly during the busy Hari Raya travel period when traffic volumes are significantly higher.

Ops HRA is part of JPJ’s broader initiative to reduce accidents and fatalities during festive seasons. By focusing on common offences such as expired documents and unsafe vehicles, JPJ aims to raise awareness among motorists and encourage responsible driving behaviour.

The Bintulu Branch plays a key role in monitoring traffic within the division, ensuring that vehicles on the road meet safety standards.
