JPJ Sarawak Holds MyLesen B2S 2026 Meeting

KUCHING – The Road Transport Department (JPJ) Sarawak convened a meeting on 14 April 2026 to review the implementation of the MyLesen B2 School (B2S) Programme for the year.

The session took place at the Kenyalang Meeting Room and was chaired by Tuan Yusniman bin Hj Muhamed, Head of the Driver Licensing Division, alongside Deputy Head Tuan Hj Nezriman. Officials and staff from the Sarawak State (M) Division also participated.

The meeting brought together key stakeholders, including the Sarawak State Education Department. Representing the department was Miss Asmidar binti Arani, who has been appointed as the Person in Charge (PIC) for the programme’s rollout in the state.

Her role underscores the collaboration between JPJ and the education sector in ensuring the initiative reaches its intended objectives.

The 2026 MyLesen B2S programme involves 2,405 candidates from across Sarawak. These individuals were shortlisted by the Sarawak District Education Office (PPD) and referred to JPJ Sarawak for participation.

The programme is designed to provide structured training and licensing opportunities for young riders, aligning with national efforts to improve road safety and compliance.

In addition to mainstream candidates, the programme has also included a special category for students with special education needs.

A total of 46 participants have been registered under this inclusive approach, reflecting JPJ’s commitment to ensuring equal access to licensing opportunities.
