BINTULU – The importance of early childhood education was underscored during the 40th KEMAS Nursery Children Appreciation Day and End-of-Year Ceremony 2025, held at Kampung Jabai Assembly Hall on Saturday.
The event was officiated by Tanjong Batu State Assemblyman Johnny Pang Leong Ming, who emphasised that preschool education forms the foundation for children’s personality, cognitive growth and social skills.
He noted that structured early learning is vital in shaping disciplined, knowledgeable and morally upright future generations.
Johnny Pang highlighted the role of KEMAS Nursery in providing accessible and quality preschool education, particularly for rural communities.

The ceremony celebrated the achievements of children from Kampung Jabai Class A, Kampung Jabai Class B, and Kampung Hulu Nyalau NKRA, marking the culmination of the 2025 session.
