KUCHING – The much-anticipated Grand Launching of Kingsdown Mattress (USA) and the bedMATCH Diagnostic Sleep System took place on Thursday, 2nd October 2025 at Dreammaster Sleep Gallery, Milan Square, Jalan Wan Alwi, Kuching.
The event, held from 12pm to 2pm, was graced by the Mayor of Kuching South, YBhg Dato Wee Hong Seng, together with Mr. Spencer Nicholls, International Vice President of Kingsdown USA, as Guests of Honour. They were joined by Brian Ong, Managing Director of Dreammaster Sleep Gallery, and Ms. Frances Chay, Asia Region Sales Director of Kingsdown USA.
In his address, Dato Wee Hong Seng congratulated Dreammaster and Kingsdown for choosing Kuching as the location for this milestone launch, highlighting that such international collaborations contribute to the city’s growth and reputation.
Mr. Spencer Nicholls spoke on Kingsdown’s legacy of excellence, stressing that the company has over a century of experience in mattress design. He added that the bedMATCH Diagnostic Sleep System is designed to help customers find their perfect mattress based on scientific sleep analysis.
A spokesperson says “Today, we are not just witnessing the introduction of a premium mattress brand but also a sleep innovation that can benefit the health and well-being of our community,”.
Guests were also treated to a variety of cultural performances, including a traditional Orang Ulu sape performance and Sarawak traditional dances, adding local flavour to the international event.
The launch included a showroom tour of Kingsdown mattresses, where experts provided a live demonstration of the bedMATCH system, offering free sleep assessments to visitors. Light refreshments, including drinks, were also served.
Brian Ong noted that the event marks a new chapter for Dreammaster in bringing world-class sleep technology to Malaysia. “Our vision is to help people sleep better with the right mattress, backed by science and innovation,” he said.
With the launch of Kingsdown USA and bedMATCH in Kuching, Sarawakians now have access to an advanced sleep diagnostic system that promises better rest and healthier living.
