16 Teams Join MAKSAK Sarawak Ping Pong Championship 2025

KUCHING – A total of 16 teams comprising over 200 participants took part in the MAKSAK Sarawak Ping Pong Championship 2025, held at Kuching South City Council (MBKS) on Saturday.

Organised by MBKS in collaboration with MAKSAK Sarawak, the tournament promotes a healthy lifestyle, sportsmanship, and departmental unity among state civil servants.

The championship aims to discover new table tennis talents while enhancing inter-agency cooperation and boosting the morale of public servants through sport.

“This event supports the government’s vision of creating a fit, healthy, and productive work culture,” said Deputy Secretary of the Government of Sarawak (Operations), Datu Hii Chang Kee, who officiated the tournament on behalf of Sarawak State Secretary Datuk Amar Mohamad Abu Bakar Marzuki.

The tournament also featured the presence of MBKS Mayor Dato Wee Hong Seng, MAKSAK Sarawak Honorary Secretary Semawi Mohamad, MBKS City Secretary Ita Ling, and MBKS Deputy Secretary Wong Ming Kong.
