Elderly Motorcyclist Injured in Sri Aman Road Accident

SRI AMAN – An elderly motorcyclist was injured in a road accident at Simpang Batu Lintang, Sri Aman, on 7 June 2026, prompting a swift response from the Malaysian Civil Defence Force (APM).

According to reports, the incident occurred as the rider was exiting the junction towards the Batu Lintang main road. The man sustained an open wound above his eye and abrasions on his right hand as a result of the crash.

Emergency services were alerted by members of the public, leading to the deployment of an APM ambulance from the Sri Aman District Operations Centre.

The team, consisting of three personnel, arrived at the scene to provide immediate medical assistance. After stabilising the victim, they transported him to hospital for further treatment.
