SEMOP – The Mukah Division Land and Survey Office (JTS) has allocated RM30,000 in corporate social responsibility (CSR) funding to support community and educational development in Kampung Sebako.
The contribution, distributed during a ceremony on Friday, includes RM10,000 for the Village Development and Security Committee (JKKK) and RM20,000 for SK Sebako primary school.
Deputy Minister in the Sarawak Premier’s Office (Corporate Affairs, Information and UKAS) Datuk Abdullah Saidol emphasized the importance of collaborative efforts between government agencies and local communities.
He noted that the funds would enhance infrastructure, uplift educational facilities, and support long-term development for residents and students.
Datuk Abdullah, who is also the Semop Assemblyman, commended JTS Mukah for their proactive role in addressing grassroots needs.
The event was attended by Daro District Officer Zul Usup, Mukah Land and Survey Officer Dahari Anis, and representatives from the Daro District Education Office.
The initiative aligns with the state’s broader strategy to bridge urban-rural disparities and foster sustainable growth through targeted aid and community partnerships.
