APM Mukah Destroys Large Wasp Nest Safely

MUKAH – The Mukah District Civil Defence Force (APM) successfully handled an emergency case involving the destruction of a wasp nest on 8 June 2026.

The incident was reported by members of the public, who alerted PKOD Mukah to the presence of the nest under a roof along Jalan Orang Kaya.

Upon arrival, APM personnel discovered a nest roughly the size of a takraw ball. Using Ridsect spray and controlled fire, the team managed to eliminate the hazard without incident.

The operation was completed efficiently, and the situation was declared safe, with no injuries or damage reported.
