Toh Puan Fauziah Opens PERKEP Sarawak Bowling Championship 2025

KUCHING – Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Fauziah Mohd Sanusi, wife of Sarawak Governor Tun Pehin Sri Dr. Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar, officiated the Sarawak Contingent Police Family Association (PERKEP) Bowling Championship 2025 at Megalanes Sarawak in Emart Batu Kawa on September 19.

The event, themed “Back To School,” aimed to foster camaraderie among police families and promote recreational sports within the community.

Upon her arrival at 9:00 a.m., Toh Puan Fauziah was greeted by PERKEP Sarawak Chairperson Datin Jennita William and Deputy Chairperson Faisha Ishak.

She symbolically launched the tournament by rolling the first ball, marking the start of the competition involving 13 teams. The Pin Head team emerged victorious after a series of competitive matches.

In her address, Toh Puan Fauziah praised the organizers and participants for their enthusiasm and teamwork. “This championship highlights the spirit of unity and family among our police community,” she remarked.

She also acknowledged Datin Jennita William’s contributions as PERKEP Chairperson, whose term concludes on September 29 following the retirement of her husband, Sarawak Police Commissioner CP Dato’ Mancha Ata.

Toh Puan Fauziah, a former Malaysia Airlines flight attendant and accomplished athlete, has actively supported community and sports initiatives across Sarawak.

Her involvement in events like the PERKEP championship aligns with her broader efforts to promote social welfare and recreational activities.
