KUANTAN – Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim last evening addressed young participants at the Pahang MADANI 2026 Children’s Gathering, where he underscored the pivotal role of the younger generation in shaping Malaysia’s future.
Speaking to an enthusiastic crowd, he emphasised that the nation’s strength lies in the courage, foresight, and responsible actions of its youth.
Anwar Ibrahim took the opportunity to congratulate students who excelled in the recent Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) examinations.
He reminded them to always recognise the dedication of their parents and teachers, whose sacrifices have been instrumental in their achievements
“This gratitude is what defines us as a civilised and virtuous society,” he stated, reinforcing the importance of humility and respect.
During the event, the Prime Minister announced several new initiatives aimed at enhancing community welfare.
These include the upgrading of the futsal court in Kampung Bukit Bay Route and the construction of a new learning hall at Maahad Tahfiz Ribath Al-Mustofa.
These projects are designed to provide better recreational and educational facilities for local youth, fostering both physical and intellectual development.
Addressing the children of Pahang directly, Anwar Ibrahim expressed his confidence in their potential. He urged them to move forward with bravery, uphold their values and identity, and strive to become a generation that not only achieves personal success but also contributes meaningfully to the progress of the state and the nation.
