A total of 19 entrants competed in the Queen of Kebaya Cilik category, while seven participants took part in the Queen of Kebaya category.

Judges selected 10 contestants from the Kebaya Cilik group to advance to the finals, while all participants in the adult category successfully secured their places in the next round.

The competitions, which celebrate traditional attire and cultural pride, were met with strong support from festival-goers.

The Queen of Kebaya contests have become a highlight of the festival, showcasing elegance, creativity and cultural heritage through the iconic kebaya dress.

Adding to the festive atmosphere, visitors were treated to a performance by guest artist Allesandro, whose appearance brought further excitement to the first day’s programme.
