SAMARAHAN – Clean water supply delivery to Kampung Sungai Mata and Kampung Naie is being actively carried out around the clock to ensure residents’ essential needs are met amid the ongoing dry season.
This urgent initiative is jointly coordinated by the Muara Tuang ADUN Service Centre and the Kuching Water Board (KWB), following reports of water supply disruption in the affected areas.
Deputy Speaker of the Sarawak State Legislative Assembly and Muara Tuang representative, Dato’ Idris Buang, confirmed that he is personally overseeing the aid distribution to ensure that no household is left behind.
“I’m closely monitoring the delivery of water to every village under my constituency, including Sungai Mata and Naie,” he said in a statement.
Dato’ Idris also expressed solidarity with residents enduring the crisis.
“May the villagers remain strong during this challenging time. We will continue to provide assistance for as long as necessary,” he added.
The day-and-night delivery approach reflects the authorities’ commitment to maintaining a steady supply of clean water during this critical period.
