KUCHING, 18 November – His Excellency the Yang di-Pertua Negeri Sarawak, Tun Pehin Sri Dr. Haji Wan Junaidi bin Tuanku Jaafar, accompanied by his wife, Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Fauziah binti Mohd Sanusi, visited the residence of YB Datuk Amar Prof. Dr. Sim Kui Hian, Deputy Premier of Sarawak, in Kenyalang Park this morning to offer condolences following the passing of his beloved mother, Puan Sri Datin Amar Lim Su Kheng.

The visit, which took place at 11.15 am, was warmly received by the Deputy Premier, his wife Dato Enn Ong Siok Ean, his younger brother Sim Kui Lian, and children Eason and Simson, along with other immediate family members. TYT Tun Pehin Sri and Toh Puan took the opportunity to personally express their sympathy and provide words of comfort to the grieving family.

During their time at the residence, Tun Pehin Sri and Toh Puan prayed for strength, fortitude, and peace for YB Datuk Amar Prof. Dr. Sim and his family in coping with the loss. Their presence was seen as a significant gesture of solidarity and support from the state leadership during this period of mourning.
