The publication would highlight his childhood, career in the police force, political involvement, and eventual appointment as the governor of Sarawak.

The governor shared his perspectives on the importance of balance in news reporting and publishing, particularly in relation to Sarawak’s development.

He also touched on the significance of preserving the state’s history while addressing current issues. His remarks underscored the role of media in ensuring accurate and responsible coverage that benefits both the state and the wider nation.

Tun Pehin Sri Wan Junaidi and Toh Puan Fauziah expressed their appreciation to Datuk Seri Wong and the BERNAMA delegation for the visit.

They conveyed their hopes that BERNAMA would continue to uphold its mission of delivering authentic and reliable information to the public.

The courtesy call reflects the ongoing collaboration between Sarawak’s leadership and national media organisations, reinforcing the importance of communication in documenting the state’s progress and achievements.

The proposed coffee table book is expected to serve as a valuable record of the governor’s contributions and milestones, offering insights into his personal and professional journey.
