Sarawak Governor and Wife Attend Dinner with Tun Jugah Foundation Chairman at Cove 55

KUCHING – Sarawak Governor, Tun Pehin Sri Dr. Haji Wan Junaidi bin Tuanku Jaafar, along with his wife, Yang Amat Berbahagia Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Fauziah binti Mohd Sanusi, attended a dinner at The Cove, Jalan Sultan Tengah, Kuching.

The event was hosted at the invitation of Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Leonard Linggi Tun Jugah, Chairman of the Tun Jugah Foundation, together with Dato Sri J.C. Fong and Datin Sri Annie Yeo Choo Sim.

Tun Pehin Sri and YABhg. Toh Puan, accompanied by their daughter Sharifah Nong-Jasima and son-in-law Encik Muhammad Nur Hakeem Yusop, received a warm welcome from the hosts and other distinguished guests.

Also, present were senior officials from PETROS, including Group CEO Dato Janin Girie and his wife Datin Sylvia Thomas Salang; Senior Vice President (Sarawak Resource Management) Dato Abang Arabi bin Abang Narudin; Senior Vice President (Growth) Datuk Joseph Podtung; and Senior Vice President (Human Capital, Corporate Relations & Services) Tuan Haji Ismail bin Said.

The dinner, held in a friendly and harmonious atmosphere, provided a platform for Tun Pehin Sri to share experiences and exchange views on current issues, especially state development and public welfare.

Beyond fostering friendships, the gathering strengthened ties between Sarawak’s leadership and key corporate and industry figures who play a vital role in the state’s progress.

Tun Pehin Sri and YABhg. Toh Puan expressed their gratitude for the invitation and hoped that these close relationships and cooperative spirit would continue to grow, contributing to the advancement of Sarawak.
