KUCHING – Sarawak Premier, Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri (Dr) Abang Abdul Rahman Zohari Tun Datuk Abang Openg and his wife, Puan Sri Datuk Amar Juma’ani Tun Tuanku Bujang, paid a heartfelt visit to the residence of Datuk Amar Jamilah Anu, the wife of the late Sarawak Chief Minister, Tun Pehin Sri Adenan Satem, on the night of Monday during the Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebrations.

Their arrival, around 8 p.m., was warmly received by Datuk Amar Jamilah and her son, Azizul Annuar Adenan, who also serves as the Tanjong Datu State Assemblyman (ADUN). This visit is a testament to the strong bond between the current state leadership and the family of the late Tun Pehin Sri Adenan, a man who left behind a lasting legacy in Sarawak’s political landscape.

The visit was not just a courtesy call but also a significant gesture of appreciation for the contributions of the late Tun Pehin Sri Adenan, whose leadership and vision continue to inspire. Present at the gathering were Sarawak State Secretary, Datuk Amar Mohamad Abu Bakar Marzuki, Sarawak’s Deputy Minister of Energy and Environmental Sustainability, Datuk Dr. Hazlan Abang Hipni, and other close family members, all of whom added to the festive and warm atmosphere of the evening.

The gathering was filled with harmony and mutual respect, further showcasing the deep family spirit shared by Sarawak’s leaders and its people, particularly during this auspicious time of Hari Raya Aidilfitri.
