Simunjan ADUN Receives a Courtesy Visit from UKAS Samarahan Division

KUCHING: Member of the State Assembly (ADUN) for Simunjan, Awla Dris, received a courtesy visit from the Sarawak Public Communication Unit (UKAS) Samarahan Division delegation, led by UKAS Officer Azzrie Mohamad, during an official session held at the Simunjan DUN Service Office on Thursday.

The visit aimed to strengthen the bilateral ties between government communication agencies and the People’s Representative Service Offices, particularly in delivering accurate, inclusive, and impactful information to the local population.

Throughout the two-hour session, both parties discussed a variety of issues and proposed joint initiatives to ensure that government policies and development efforts are effectively communicated to grassroots communities.

During the meeting, Awla expressed appreciation to UKAS for their proactive role in establishing close cooperation with the offices of elected representatives, especially those in rural areas.
