BINTULU – Sekolah Rendah Integrasi Al-Amin Bintulu (SRIAAB) has been commended for its holistic education model, which not only focuses on academic achievement but also instils discipline, character, and universal human values among its students.
Tanjong Batu State Assemblyman, Johnny Pang Leong Ming, officiated the school’s 3rd Takrim and Graduation Ceremony at the Kemena Plaza Hotel on Saturday.
He praised SRIAAB’s approach for shaping a generation of students who are prepared to face future challenges with integrity and resilience.
“Although our backgrounds may be different, noble values such as honesty, respect, cooperation and doing good are universal values that unite us as Malaysians,” he said, highlighting the importance of shared principles in fostering unity.
Pang congratulated the Year Six graduates, describing their achievements as the result of perseverance, dedication, and strong spirit.
He also expressed deep appreciation for the teachers’ commitment, noting their role in guiding and nurturing students with patience and dedication.
Parents and guardians were also recognised for their moral support, time, and energy in ensuring their children’s success.
Looking ahead, Pang advised the graduates to continue striving with discipline and a positive attitude, while respecting teachers, loving their parents, and upholding trustworthiness and responsibility.
He emphasised that these values are essential in building a generation capable of contributing positively to society.
He reaffirmed his commitment as a representative of the people to support education development in Bintulu, stressing the importance of collaboration between schools, parents, and the wider community.
Such cooperation, he said, ensures that children receive quality and comprehensive education that balances academic excellence with character development.
The ceremony celebrated not only academic success but also the values that SRIAAB seeks to instil in its students, reinforcing the school’s role as a key institution in producing well-rounded individuals for the future of Sarawak.
