STIDC Hosts Iftar, Supports 100 Underprivileged Students

KUCHING – The Sarawak Timber Industry Development Corporation (STIDC) held its 2026 Iftar Gathering at the Borneo Convention Centre Kuching (BCCK) on Saturday, 7 March 2026, combining festive celebration with meaningful community support.

The event was graced by YB Datuk Haji Len Talif Salleh, Deputy Minister for Urban Planning, Land Administration and Environment under the Ministry of Natural Resources & Urban Development, Sarawak.

He attended on behalf of YB Datuk Amar Haji Awang Tengah Ali Hasan, Deputy Premier of Sarawak and Chairman of the STIDC Board of Management.

This year’s gathering not only strengthened bonds among STIDC staff but also highlighted the organisation’s commitment to corporate social responsibility (CSR).

A total of 100 underprivileged students (asnaf) from 10 schools across Kuching received festive contributions to assist with preparations for the upcoming Hari Raya Aidilfitri.
