KUCHING, SARAWAK – Joy and happiness filled the air last night as Kampung Tabuan Jaya Tengah hosted its annual Christmas & New Year Gathering 2024 at Rumah Gawai, Jalan Kedandi. This lively celebration united the community in festive cheer and marked a heartwarming conclusion to the year.
Gracing the occasion was Sih Hua Tong, SUPP Batu Lintang Branch Chairman, alongside special guests such as William Vong, John Wong, Penghulu Onggom, Sung Chin Kheng, and Kueh Siew Foong, the Executive Secretary of the branch.
A Festive Night of Togetherness
The gathering commenced at 6:30 PM with the arrival of residents and invited guests. At 7:30 PM, the evening officially began with a soul-stirring choir performance and caroling session, followed by a blessing ceremony led by Deacon Christmanuel.

The community came together to share a delectable communal dinner while participating in fun-filled games organized by Mdm Jawai, Mr. Donny, and Mdm Julia. Activities included:

- Balloon blowing
- Musical box passing
- Bread eating
- Lane changing
Children and adults alike were thrilled by a surprise appearance from Santa Claus, who handed out exciting prizes to game winners, spreading smiles across the room.
