BINTULU – A discussion session on the Tatau Village Expansion Scheme (SPK) was held on 15 April 2026 at Meeting Room 600, Wisma Bintulu.
The event was officiated by Yang Berbahagia Datuk Sri John Sikie Tayai, Minister in the Sarawak Premier’s Department and State Assemblyman for Kakus.
The session focused on identifying eligible applicants for the scheme, alongside a briefing on the distribution process for SPK forms.
Officials also announced the establishment of a technical committee to oversee the project and carried out a symbolic submission of notification notices to the relevant parties.
The initiative is part of ongoing efforts to ensure village development in Tatau is more structured, transparent and beneficial to the local community.
The SPK project is expected to provide opportunities for residents to access housing and land in a planned manner, contributing to long-term community stability and growth.
