Dangerous Street Racing in Atlanta Parking Lot
A 17-year-old teenager was arrested following a street racing incident in Atlanta. When officers attempted to pull over the Dodge Charger, the driver tried to evade capture, leading to a high-speed chase. Dash camera footage from the police shows the vehicle attempting to flee, prompting officers to deploy stop sticks—spikes designed to deflate a vehicle’s tires.
Suspect Apprehended
Despite the use of stop sticks, the suspect continued to drive for another mile and a half before the deflated tire forced him to stop. The 17-year-old driver was then placed in handcuffs and arrested. He was charged with fleeing and eluding police, as well as reckless driving.
