Kuching, 16 April 2025 – The Kuching District Police Headquarters held its Monthly Assembly for April 2025 at the Parade Ground of IPD Kuching, with full honours and strong attendance from various departments within the force. The assembly was hosted by the Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Division.
The event was officially officiated by YDH ACP Mohd Farhan Lee bin Abdullah, the Kuching District Police Chief. Also in attendance were YDH Supt. Merbin ak Lisa, Deputy District Police Chief, along with divisional heads, police station chiefs, senior and junior officers, as well as civil staff.

The ceremony began with the singing of Negaraku, Ibu Pertiwiku, and Sang Saka Biru, followed by a prayer recitation to bless the gathering.

In his address, YDH ACP Mohd Farhan Lee expressed his Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri wishes to all members of the Kuching Police District, recognising the festive spirit still fresh among the officers and staff. He extended heartfelt gratitude for the continued cooperation and dedication shown by every level of the force throughout his leadership as District Police Chief.
He also reminded everyone—from senior officers to civil staff—that each individual plays a vital role in ensuring the delivery of public services and smooth administration. Emphasis was placed on the importance of maintaining good health, work-life balance, and harmonious workplace relationships.
Furthermore, he urged all officers to maintain excellence in service to the public, regardless of circumstances, highlighting that the police are always expected to act professionally and compassionately.
The highlight of the assembly was the presentation of appreciation certificates to all division and station heads, as well as to 17 outstanding officers and staff who have demonstrated commitment and success in their respective duties.
This assembly reflects the strong values of discipline, unity, and service within the Royal Malaysia Police, especially in Kuching, as they continue striving to serve the community better. — Polis Daerah Kuching
