Civil Defence Force Removes Wasp Nest Safely in Matu

MATU – The Malaysian Civil Defence Force (APM) in Matu District successfully handled a wasp nest removal operation on Saturday, 25 April 2026, following an emergency call from a resident in Tian Village.

The District Operations Control Centre (PKOD) received the report concerning a wasp nest located under the roof of a house, near a bola takraw area. Upon arrival, APM members were guided by the complainant to the exact location of the nest.

Before commencing the operation, personnel prepared the necessary equipment to ensure the procedure could be carried out safely.

The team then applied insecticide spray, using Ridsect, to neutralise the nest. The operation was completed without incident, and the area was confirmed safe for residents.
