Upon arrival, they discovered that the accident involved a Yamaha motorcycle and a 10-ton lorry that was parked on the roadside. The impact left the motorcyclist unconscious in a nearby ditch.

“The fire brigade team worked quickly to retrieve the victim using a stretcher,” said a spokesperson from JBPM. Unfortunately, medical personnel from the MOH confirmed that the young man had succumbed to his injuries.

Investigation Underway

The police have taken over the case for further investigation. Authorities are examining the circumstances surrounding the accident, including whether poor visibility, road conditions, or other factors played a role in the fatal crash.

The untimely death of Chieng Siew Heng has left the local community in shock, as road accidents continue to be a serious concern in Malaysia. Authorities urge motorists to exercise caution while traveling, especially on busy roads like Jalan Rajang.
