PM Anwar Stresses Inclusivity and Accountability in Government Engagement

KUALA LUMPUR – Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has underscored the importance of fostering strong relations across all levels of society, highlighting inclusivity and accountability as central pillars of the MADANI Government.

Speaking during a meeting with newly appointed Deputy Ministers, Anwar emphasised that cooperation must not be confined to ministries and agencies alone, but should extend to communities at large.

He noted that effective governance relies on trust and responsibility being carried out with integrity and diligence.

The Prime Minister explained that government policies must be implemented in ways that deliver tangible benefits to the people.

To achieve this, he stressed the need for clear and accurate communication, ensuring that information reaches every segment of society without distortion.

“Communication must be continuously strengthened so that the information conveyed is clear, accurate and reaches all levels of society, in line with the aspirations of the MADANI Government which is based on inclusivity and accountability,” he said.

Anwar reiterated that the government’s mission is to ensure policies are not only well-designed but also effectively executed, with transparency at the forefront.

He added that inclusivity remains a guiding principle, ensuring no group is left behind in the nation’s development agenda.

The meeting with Deputy Ministers was seen as an opportunity to reaffirm collective responsibility in delivering government initiatives.

By strengthening ties between leadership and the public, Anwar said the government can better uphold its commitment to fairness, accountability, and community empowerment.

The Prime Minister’s remarks reflect the broader vision of the MADANI framework, which seeks to balance governance with social responsibility, ensuring Malaysia’s progress is both sustainable and equitable.
