Kuala Lumpur — Malaysian rock fans had a night to remember as American nu-metal band Papa Roach performed live in the country for the very first time. The concert, organised by Hitman Solutions, took place at the Idea Live Arena and attracted a crowd full of passionate fans eager to experience the band’s signature energy.
The moment the lights went down and the first riffs of “Even if It Kills Me” hit, the arena came alive. Frontman Jacoby Shaddix commanded the stage with his intense energy, while guitarist Jerry Horton, bassist Tobin Esperance, and drummer Tony Palermo delivered tight, high-octane performances. Fans sang along to classics like “Scars” and “Between Angels and Insects,” and even the band’s latest single, “Wake Up Calling,” had everyone joining in, turning the venue into one massive chorus. The night ended on a high note with their most famous song, “Last Resort,” leaving the crowd wanting more.
