KUCHING – The Sarawak Road Transport Department (JPJ) conducted an Employee Integrity Strengthening Programme on 14 April through an official visit to the Malaysian Prison Department at Puncak Borneo, Kuching.
The programme was led by JPJ Sarawak Director Norizan bin Jili and warmly received by Deputy Director of Puncak Borneo Prison, Rahim bin Buji, alongside senior officers of the department.
Also present were JPJ Sarawak Deputy Director Mohd Faizal David bin Jemat, senior officers and members of JPJ Sarawak.
The initiative was designed to reinforce values of integrity, ethics and accountability among JPJ staff. By engaging with the Prison Department, the programme provided meaningful exposure intended to strengthen personal identity and commitment to public service responsibilities.
Director Norizan highlighted the importance of integrity as a cornerstone of JPJ’s work culture, stressing that employees must uphold ethical standards in delivering quality services to the community.
He expressed appreciation to the Prison Department for its willingness to host the visit and contribute to the success of the programme.
