JKR Sarawak Director Reviews Progress at Kuching Civic Hall

KUCHING – The Director of Public Works (JKR) Sarawak, YBhg. Datu Adj. Prof. Ir. Ts. Gs. Br. PMr. Dr. Cassidy anak Morris, carried out a site inspection at the Kuching Civic Hall on 20 April 2026 to assess the progress of ongoing roof replacement works.

The project involves dismantling the existing roof structure and installing a new system designed to improve durability and safety standards.

According to the latest updates, construction has reached more than 90 per cent completion, signalling that the initiative is advancing steadily and remains on schedule.

During the visit, the director was briefed by the project team on current developments and challenges encountered on site.
