SARATOK – The Saratok District Civil Defence Force responded promptly to an emergency call on 28 April 2026 after residents reported the presence of a dangerous ground wasp nest at a private home along Jalan Sungai Buloh, Praja, Saratok.
Three personnel were mobilised to the location, where they discovered the nest under the roof and inside a rolled mat. The situation posed a significant risk to the occupants of the house, prompting immediate action.
The team carried out extermination using insecticide spraying techniques, ensuring full compliance with safety protocols and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). The operation was executed smoothly, with the nest completely destroyed.
Authorities confirmed that no injuries were reported during the incident. The swift response prevented potential harm to residents and eliminated the threat posed by the wasps.
