SIBU – The Road Transport Department (JPJ) Sarawak Zone held its Excellent Service Awards (APC) 2026 and Retirement Ceremony 2026 on 30 April, recognising the dedication and achievements of its staff.
The event was officiated by YB Datuk Haji Hasbi bin Haji Habibollah, who highlighted the importance of acknowledging excellence and long service within the department.
A total of 51 employees were honoured with the Excellent Service Award, a recognition given to those who demonstrated outstanding performance and strong commitment in their roles.
The awards serve as a benchmark for quality service and reinforce the department’s mission to uphold efficiency and professionalism in public administration.
In addition to celebrating current staff, the ceremony also paid tribute to 10 retirees who concluded their careers with JPJ.
Their contributions were acknowledged as vital to the department’s growth and success over the years. Organisers emphasised that the retirees’ dedication had left a lasting impact on the organisation and its service delivery.
The ceremony was attended by senior officials, including YBrs Tuan Haji Jamaruslam bin Abdullah, Deputy Director General (Management) of JPJ Malaysia, and YBrs Tuan Norizan bin Jili, Director of JPJ Sarawak.
Their presence underscored the significance of the event in recognising both individual and collective achievements within the department.
