BINTULU – The Malaysian Civil Defence Force (APM) Bintulu successfully rescued a kitten trapped inside the bonnet of a car following an emergency call on Thursday, 7 May 2026.
The District Operations Control Centre (PKOD) received a report from the public after the complainant discovered the animal stuck in the bonnet of a Honda HR-V.
Concerned for the kitten’s safety, the complainant immediately sought assistance from APM. Upon arrival, APM members carefully assessed the situation before beginning the rescue.
Using appropriate equipment and techniques, the team managed to free the kitten without causing harm to the animal or damage to the vehicle. The operation was completed safely, and the kitten was returned to the complainant.
