Two Men Arrested in Bau for Suspected Drug Abuse

BAU – Police in Bau have detained two men suspected of drug abuse following a targeted operation in Kampung Melayu Bau and Kampung Rumih Bau on 13 May 2026.

The arrests were carried out at approximately 4.50 pm by officers from the Bau District Narcotics Criminal Investigation Division.

The suspects, aged between 33 and 45, were taken into custody after initial urine screenings returned positive results for drug use.

Authorities confirmed that both individuals are being investigated under Section 15(1) of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952.
