Concreting Works Progress at SM04 ART Station Near UNIMAS

KUCHING – Construction of the SM04 Autonomous Rapid Transit (ART) station near Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS) has reached another milestone, with concreting works for the pedestrian link bridge currently underway.

The station, strategically positioned near the entrance to UNIMAS, the university’s new teaching hospital, and commercial as well as residential developments along the Kuching-Samarahan Expressway, is expected to provide enhanced connectivity for commuters.

Sarawak Metro, the agency overseeing the ART project, confirmed that the station will integrate with a hydrogen-powered feeder bus service.
