APM Bintulu Destroys Beehive Behind Residence Safely

BINTULU – The Malaysian Civil Defence Force (APM) Bintulu responded to an emergency call on 19 June 2026 after a beehive was discovered on a mango tree behind a residence.

The District Operations Control Centre (PKOD) received the report from a member of the public, prompting immediate deployment of personnel to the site.

Upon arrival, officers identified the beehive, which was approximately the size of a takraw ball, and assessed the potential risk to the household.

Using insecticide spray combined with controlled burning techniques, the team successfully destroyed the hive.
