APM Bintulu Captures Cobra in Store Safely

BINTULU – The Malaysian Civil Defence Force (APM) Bintulu responded to an emergency call on 20 June 2026 after a cobra was discovered inside a store belonging to a complainant.

The District Operations Control Centre (PKOD) received the report from TMRC, prompting immediate deployment of personnel to the site.

Upon arrival, officers identified the reptile as a black cobra measuring approximately one metre in length. Using the pincer technique, the team successfully captured the snake without incident.
