KUCHING – The Sarawak State Education Department held its 2025 Excellent Service Awards Ceremony on 14 July at the department’s auditorium, recognising staff for their dedication, integrity, and outstanding contributions to public service.
The event was officiated by YBhg. Dato Ahmad Nadzri bin Mohd Hassan, Secretary of the Federation of Sarawak (SUPS), who also presented certificates to award recipients. Among the honours conferred were the Excellent Service Award Certificate and the 20 Years of Service Certificate, acknowledging staff who have demonstrated loyalty and commitment throughout their careers.
The ceremony served as a platform to celebrate excellence within the education sector, highlighting the role of educators and administrators in shaping Sarawak’s future. Also present were YBrs. Encik Omar bin Haji Mahli, Director of the Sarawak State Education Department, and YBrs. Puan Hajah Siti Zulaiha binti Haji Ibrahim, Deputy Director of the Learning Sector and Chairperson of the ceremony. Their attendance underscored the importance of leadership in fostering a culture of appreciation and motivation among staff.
