DEBAK – The Civil Defence Force (APM) in Debak successfully carried out a controlled operation to remove a hazardous wasp nest from an oil palm plantation.
The mission was initiated following a public complaint regarding the potential threat posed by the insect colony to both the plantation owner and the general public.
Upon receiving the report, the APM Debak team responded promptly to the location. Their primary objective was to conduct a thorough risk assessment to determine the best course of action for neutralising the threat without causing harm to personnel or the surrounding environment.
