KUCHING – A total of 337 participants in the Class B2 Driving Licence Assistance Programme organised by the DUN N.14 Batu Kawah have taken part in practical training and assessment as they progress towards obtaining their motorcycle driving licences.
The practical sessions for Parts 2 and 3 of the programme were held at the SMK Min Lit Batu Kawah compound in Kuching on 8 August 2026.
The training forms part of the requirements that participants must complete as they work towards obtaining a valid Class B2 driving licence.
The sessions were conducted with the involvement of examiners from the Driver Licensing Division of the Road Transport Department (JPJ) Sarawak.
Participants were required to undergo practical exercises and assessment as part of the licensing process. The training is intended to help ensure that those taking part have the necessary practical skills and understanding before they begin riding on public roads.
The programme is being implemented through cooperation between several organisations, including JPJ Sarawak, Pusat Khidmat N.14 Batu Kawah and Institut Memandu MKM Sdn. Bhd.
The collaboration brings together the relevant service centre, driving institution and licensing authorities to support the delivery of the programme.
The practical training and assessment phase is an important stage for participants who are seeking to complete the requirements for a Class B2 driving licence.
